 11:7
 11:8
 11:9
11:8 The people could simply go for a stroll and gather it. They would then grind it in a hand-mill or crush it in a mortar, cooking it in a pan and making it into cakes. It tasted like an oil wafer.
Shatu ha'am velaktu vetachanu varechayim o dachu bamedochah uvishlu baparur ve'asu oto ugot vehayah tamo keta'am leshad hashamen.
11:9 At night, when the dew would fall on the camp, the manna would descend on it.
Uveredet hatal al-hamachaneh laylah yered haman alav.

Commentary:

wafer
(Septuagint). Leshad in Hebrew. Or, 'oil-saturated loaf' (Donash, quoted in Rashi). See Exodus 16:31.
