7:22 God spoke to Moses, telling him
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe lemor.
7:23 to relate the following to the Israelites:

Do not eat any of the hard fat in an ox, sheep or goat.
Daber el-beney Yisra'el lemor kol-chelev shor vechesev va'ez lo tochelu.

7:24 [Even if] an animal is improperly slaughtered or fatally wounded, you may use its hard fat for any purpose you desire, as long as you do not eat it.
Vechelev nevelah vechelev trefah ye'aseh lechol-melachah ve'achol lo tocheluhu.
