When the priest sees that the afflicted person has turned [completely] white, the priest shall declare him clean, and he is then ritually pure.

Third Reading [This is the law] when there is an infection on the body and it heals.

Commentary:
infection (cf. Exodus 9:9). A pustule, boil or blister (Ibn Janach: Tifereth Yisrael, Negaim 9:1). This can be caused by anything other than a burn (Negaim 9:1).
