Commentary:

Chronicles of Adam
  (Targum; Saadia). Or, 'chronicles of man' (Sforno; Septuagint).

  (Targum). Literally, 'call in the name of God.' Others have, 'to profane God's name,' indicating the rise of idolatry (Rashi).
