The third day was Pharaoh's birthday, and he made a feast for all his servants. Among his servants, he gave special attention to the chief wine steward and the chief baker.
Vayehi bayom hashlishi yom huledet et-Par'oh vaya'as mishteh lechol-avadav. Vayisa et-rosh sar hamashkim ve'et-rosh sar ha'ofim betoch avadav.
40:21 He restored the chief steward to his position, and allowed him to place the cup in Pharaoh's hand.
Vayashev et-sar hamashkim al-mashkehu vayiten hakos al-kaf Par'oh.
