marriage group
This denotes all native born Israelites who may freely intermarry with each other. They may, however, marry a proselyte or a freed slave (Yevamoth 76a).

Mamzer in Hebrew. A person has the status of a mamzer only if he is born of an adulterous or incestuous union, not if he is merely born out of wedlock.
